Working Foreman

Linsco Recruitment are looking for a working foreman / woman to work for a well established construction and maintenance company in Nottingham. The role is a temp to perm position and paid as PAYE.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Site working Foreman/Woman with a strong background in construction, refurbishments and fit out projects and from a Joinery background. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, managing project time-lines and spending approx 40% of the time on the tools.

The position is based from the head office in Nottingham but would require you to work on various projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

· Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.

· Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues that may impact project delivery.

· Monitor and manage project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

Resource Management:

· Manage the allocation of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

· Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a working supervisor in interior fit-out construction projects.

· Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.

· Joinery background

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members

· CSCS Card
